About the Team and Role
Are you looking for new exciting challenge working within the Street Lighting service assisting in inspection and compliance for electrical equipment
The County Council is looking to recruit an Assistant Engineer who will assist in delivering in verifying compliance for street lighting and electrical equipment installed by third parties, prior to ownership being transferred to the council across Gloucestershire.
About You
As Assistant Engineer you will be the first point of contact for our Highway Development Management Team for street lighting and electrical related matters across Gloucestershire. You will assist in the compliance and specification requirements for the service.
Preferably you will have relevant experience in Street Lighting and electrical principles/equipment specifications and be able to provide an excellent level of customer service to internal colleagues and external stakeholders and members through face to face, written and verbal communications.
We would also consider applications from candidates wishing to complete an apprenticeship, Level 4.
