Team Leader, Family Time - Stability Provision

As we continue to deliver excellent services to our children, we are looking to appoint an additional Team leader to grow our Stability provision as part of our Children in Care Services. This is a pivotal role, created to provide team leadership and ensure children in care quality time with family and those who are important to them in a safe environment.
As one of five Team leaders within our Stability provision, you will report directly to the Service Manager and take the lead in shaping and overseeing:
- One of the Family Time teams within the service.
- Lead and develop operational practice to ensure children experience family time positively.
- Work in partnership across the provision and with partners to ensure children’s needs are met and their potential reached.

Role summary
We’re looking for a skilled and knowledgeable leader who can inspire and support their team to deliver high-quality, impactful practice. You’ll play a key role in creating a culture that puts children at the heart of everything we do and drives continuous improvement across the service.
You will
- Lead a team of family support workers supporting family time for children and families involved in court proceedings and children in care:
- Lead and provide day to day management of the team
- Ensure professional supervision of the team
- Represent the team in multi-agency working
- Support and oversee life story work
- Establish an effective and collaborative relationship with social work team managers, to achieve progress and stability
- Be part of a management team overseeing a rapid response service and contribute to out of hours management cover
